This inviting home is inspired by the great love of the outdoors and the thrill of exploration, perfectly blending traditional and modern, natural textures and the highest-quality fittings and furniture. All you need to add is good food and drink, and great company. The lodge is available to book for 4 people – no pets allowed.
A stunning 2-bedroom 48’x 22′ luxury lodge painstakingly hand-built by Lissett Homes. Lissett Homes are based just 36 miles from us in Pocklington, and without doubt are the Rolls Royce of residential park home manufacturing. Their philosophy towards construction is design and build without compromise, using the best proven techniques and materials available to achieve the highest quality standards. You just need to see one of their lodges to see how exquisite they are.
The exterior shape is stunning and clad in white pine, lumbered just under the Arctic circle in Canada. The decor concept creates the feel that you might be in the Alaskan countryside, remote but cocooned in a wonderful cosy leisure home. A Morso log burner-style stove helps create the feel of space and the log cabin vibe. A planked vaulted ceiling with inset lighting injects the ultra-modern design that runs parallel with the alaskan feel throughout the lodge. The master bedroom is ensuite with a roll-top bath, double-sized shower and two wash basins, complete with a towel warmer. The main bathroom is complete with a double walk-in shower and basin.
The lounge comfort is provided by two large leather-upholstered settees with tartan seat cushions and an array of cushions; some wool, some tartan. An enormous mirror set into the wall creates the illusion that the room is even larger than it is. The dining suite is a large herringbone table accompanied with four brown leather chairs.
Kitchen area uses all Bosch appliances, including wine cooler, dish washer, fridge/freezer, microwave, double oven, grill and ceramic hob. A breakfast bar with tall stools sits in the centre of the kitchen and complements the natural wood of the cabinet doors which have a prominent grain. A Bosch combination washer & dryer is provided in the utility room.
